Robert E. "Bob" Fisher, FACHE, FHFMA has joined El Dorado, Kan.-based Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital as interim CFO due to the retirement of Robin G. Crawford, FHFMA, who served there for the past seven years.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Fisher.
1. He began his new role Jan. 11 and will serve until the hospital hires a permanent CFO.
2. Following a 40-year career as CFO at several hospitals in Pennsylvania, Texas, Oklahoma and New York coupled with a CEO stint in Pennsylvania, he has been serving as a hospital consultant and interim leader with various organizations since 2012.
3. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
