Summit Pacific Medical Center, a critical access hospital in Elma, Wash., announced its CEO Renee Jensen decided not to renew her contract, according to a report by The Daily World.
Here are five notes:
1. Ms. Jensen's last day will be May 5, 2017.
2. She is leaving her current role to pursue new opportunities.
3. She initially served as CEO of Mark Reed Hospital in McCleary, Wash., which was shuttered when Summit Pacific Medical Center opened in 2013 as a replacement facility.
4. She previously served in numerous leadership roles at Columbia County Health System in Dayton, Wash., including associate administrator and director of quality Improvement.
5. Summit Pacific Medical Center's administration team is working on a transition plan for the upcoming leadership change.
