Attleboro, Mass.-based Sturdy Memorial Hospital selected Amy Pfeffer to serve as treasurer and CFO, according to The Sun Chronicle.
Here are five things to know:
1. Ms. Pfeffer succeeds Joseph Casey, who took over as interim president and CEO following the early retirement of Bruce Auerbach, MD, June 19.
2. Most recently, Ms. Pfeffer served as vice president of planning and business strategy at the hospital.
3. Previously, she served as the director of budget and reimbursement.
4. Ms. Pfeffer earned master's degrees in both business administration and health service administration from Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan.
5. She serves on the board of directors for the Boston Accountable Care Organization.
