Dallas-based Steward Health Care tapped Herb Holtz to serve as general counsel.
Here are four points:
1. Mr. Holtz was most recently a partner at Holtz & Reed, a Boston-based law firm.
2. While at Holtz & Reed, he represented numerous healthcare organizations including Steward and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
3. He also served as outside general counsel to a pharmaceutical company.
4. Mr. Holtz replaces Joe Maher who is retiring on Jan. 15, 2019.
