Pam Stieb will step down as CFO of Sterling (Colo.) Regional MedCenter, part of Phoenix-based Banner Health, at the end of January, after being with the organization for 28 years, according to a Journal-Advocate report.
Ms. Stieb announced her resignation in October 2014 and decided to keep her position until a new facility, Banner Health Center in Sterling, was completed. The center's grand opening is Jan. 29, according to the report.
Ms. Stieb told the Journal Advocate, "I am proud to have been a part of countless projects that have helped define the services available to the people of this community."
After Ms. Stieb's departure, Dena Klockman, CFO of Ogallala (Neb.) Community Hospital, and Al Reiners, operations finance director at Banner Health, will serve as joint interim CFOs of Sterling Regional MedCenter.
