Kevin Tabb, chief medical officer of Stanford (Calf.) Hospital and Clinics is in negotiations to become the next CEO of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, according to a Boston Globe report.
Beth Israel's board reportedly offered the top post to Dr. Tabb earlier this week, though the hospital has yet to make an official announcement about its new leader.
Dr. Tabb would replace Paul Levy, who stepped down in January following reports of an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate.
