Stamford (Conn.) Hospital has named Rohit Bhalla, MD, MPH, as vice president of quality and chief quality officer.
Dr. Bhalla will be responsible for the oversight of quality, patient safety, care management, palliative care, resource utilization and the hospitalist program. Prior to joining Stamford Hospital, he served Montefiore Medical Center in New York City for 10 years.
