Stamford Hospital in Connecticut Promotes COO Kathleen Silard

Stamford (Conn.) Hospital has promoted Executive Vice President and COO Kathleen Silard, RN, has been appointed to also serve as chief nursing officer, according to a hospital release.

Prior to joining Stamford Hospital in 2003, Ms. Silard served as executive vice president and COO at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Patterson, N.J. To support Ms. Silard in her new CNO role, Ellen Komar, RN, has been appointed vice president for patient care services.
