Rohit Bhalla, MD, has been named vice president of quality and chief quality officer of Stamford (Conn.) Hospital.
In this position, Dr. Bhalla will be responsible for the oversight of quality, patient safety, care management, palliative care, resource utilization and the hospitalist programs. Previously, Dr. Bhalla served as chief quality officer at Montefiore Medical Center for a decade.
