Mercy Health-Toledo (Ohio) selected Jeffrey Dempsey to serve as president of St. Vincent Medical Center and Children's Hospital in Toledo.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Dempsey most recently served as president and COO of Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio.
2. He has worked at Mercy Health-Toledo for 20 years, serving in numerous leadership positions.
3. He replaces Tom Arquilla, who served as interim president for St. Vincent, in addition to his role as chief strategy officer for Mercy Health-Toledo.
4. Mr. Dempsey is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.
