St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital president to leave for Florida position: 5 things to know

Indianapolis-based St. Vincent Health, a member of St. Louis-based Ascension Health, has named Tom VanOsdol, president of the St. Vincent Anderson Northeast Region, as the new COO of clinically integrated systems of care for St. Vincent's HealthCare in Jacksonville, Fla., according to The Herald Bulletin.

Here are five things to know about Mr. VanOsdol.

1. In his new role, he will serve alongside the chief clinical officer to oversee the development of regional clinically integrated systems of care. He will also be responsible for identifying growth opportunities.

2. Mr. VanOsdol has served the St. Vincent system for 25 years.

3. During his tenure, he has served as vice president of operations, and has led numerous clinical and operational departments and programs.

4. Mr. VanOsdol's last day as president of St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital will be Dec. 11.

5. Mike Schroyer, COO of St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis, will take over for Mr. VanOsdol on an interim basis as the top administrator for St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital and the St. Vincent Northeast Region, which includes St. Vincent Anderson Regional, St. Vincent Mercy in Elwood, Ind., and St. Vincent Randolph in Winchester, Ind.
