St. Mary's Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo., a member of Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health, has named Brian Davidson, MD, president.
Here are three things to know about Dr. Davidson.
1. Dr. Davidson joined St. Mary's as CMO in 2014 and, in addition to that role, has been serving as interim president since September 2015. St. Mary's will now begin a search for a new CMO.
2. Prior to joining St. Mary's, Dr. Davidson served the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colo., in multiple leadership roles, including as vice chairman of the department of anesthesiology and as the medical director of the operating room.
3. Dr. Davidson earned a medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and a master's degree in business administration from University of Colorado Denver.
