Jon Rozenfeld has been appointed president of Madison, Wis.-based St. Mary's Hospital, effective May 26, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
St. Mary's Hospital is part of St. Louis-based SSM Health Care's Wisconsin division, which is based in Madison.
In his newly appointed role, Mr. Rozenfeld will lead operations of the hospital. He will also work with the regional president and CEO of hospital operations, Damond Boatwright, to help oversee and expand SSM Health Care hospital and amubulatory services in Wisconsin.
Mr. Rozenfeld is returning to SSM Health after serving as COO for Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based Alexian Brothers Health System, where he also served on the board for the system's accountable care organization. Mr. Rozenfeld previously served St. Mary's as executive vice president and COO from 2006 to 2012. He has 25 years of executive healthcare leadership experience.
Mr. Rozenfeld will replace Frank Byrne, MD, who retired at the beginning of the year.
