Duluth, Minn.-based St. Luke's Health System tapped Kevin Nokels to serve as president and CEO, effective Aug. 12.
Three things to know:
1. Mr. Nokels is president of CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy in Omaha, Neb.
2. He will succeed John Strange, who retired in February after nearly 23 years at the helm.
3. St. Luke's includes two hospitals, 14 primary care clinics, 29 specialty clinics and two pharmacies.
