Robert G. David has been named president of St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio.
Here are four things to know about Mr. David.
1. He will begin his job at St. John, part of Cleveland-based University Hospitals, April 1.
2. Since January 2014, he has served as president of UH Bedford (Ohio) Medical Center and UH Richmond Medical Center in Richmond Heights, Ohio, campuses of UH Regional Hospitals.
3. During his tenure as president of the Bedford and Richmond campuses, Mr. David successfully restructured the organization's strategic plan and recruited new physicians while focusing on quality of care and patient experience, according to UH.
4. Previously, Mr. David was also president of UH Conneaut (Ohio) and UH Geneva (Ohio) medical centers from 2008 through 2013.
