St. David's Medical Center in Austin, Texas, appointed Dan Huffine CFO, effective Aug. 6, according to a North Austin Patch report.

1. Mr. Huffine previously served as CFO at St. David's South Austin Medical Center.
2. He also has experience serving as controller for the HCA Central and West Texas Division, which includes Austin-based St. David's HealthCare and El Paso, Texas-based Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare.
3. Mr. Huffine is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
4. He earned his MBA at Regis University in Denver.
