St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis has named David Sindelar CEO, effective Sept. 1.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Sindelar.
1. Mr. Sindelar has a long history of service to St. Anthony's and to South County. He grew up in South County before St. Anthony's moved to its current location. He graduated from Lindbergh High School and went on to earn his degree in accounting from Saint Louis University.
2. In addition to his previous business experience as the CEO and President of Hanley Partners and CEO of several portfolio companies, including Viasystems, Mr. Sindelar has served on St. Anthony's board of directors since 2002 and was elected board chairman in 2010. He will continue to serve as board chairman.
3. Mr. Sindelar will become the fourth member of the Office of the President for St. Anthony's. The Office of the President includes Mr. Sindelar; David Morton, MD, CMO; Beverly Bokovitz, RN, CNO; and Christopher Bowe, MD, president of St. Anthony's Physician Organization.
