Lansing, Mich.-based Sparrow Health System has named Brian D. Schroeder, MD, as senior vice president and chief medical officer, according to a Sparrow news release.
In his new role, Dr. Schroeder will oversee safety, quality, patient satisfaction and partnering with the medical community. Dr. Schroeder comes to Sparrow from Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, Mich., where he served as medical director for the hospitalist program.
