Lansing, Mich.-based Sparrow Health System will acquire Ionia County Memorial Hospital in St. Ionia, Mich., effective Jan. 1, according to a report by the Lansing State Journal.
The 25-bed Ionia has been managed by Sparrow since 2006, and Sparrow has loaned Ionia approximately $3 million to date.
