Brunswick-based Southeast Georgia Health System appointed Robert J. Bernasek, MD, CMO.
Here are three points:
1. Most recently, Dr. Bernasek served as the CMO at Hilton Head (S.C.) Regional Healthcare.
2. He has also previously served as vice president of medical affairs at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.
3. Dr. Bernasek completed a hematology fellowship at Bronx Veterans Administration Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center, both based in New York City. He also holds an MBA degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
