Edinburg-based South Texas Health System appointed Lance Ames permanent CEO of South Texas Health System Edinburg and South Texas Health System Children's in Edinburg, according to a Valley Morning Star report.
Here are three things to know:
1. Mr. Ames was previously interim CEO of the Edinburg facilities.
2. He has also served as associate administrator for ambulatory services at South Texas Health System.
3. He earned a master of health administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
