Skip Philips has decided to remain CEO of Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, Va., after announcing his resignation last month, according to a Martinsville Bulletin report.
Mr. Philips resigned in August with plans to join DeKalb Regional Health System in Decatur, Ga., as executive vice president and COO. According to the report, Mr. Philips "didn't have a good feeling" and experienced hesitation as he prepared for the move to Georgia.
