Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville, Calif., has narrowed down its search for a CEO down to two candidates, according to a Porterville Recorder report.
In July, current President and CEO Dennis Coleman announced his plans to retire. He agreed to stay on as the leader through Jan. 2012 to allow the board and hospital time to hire a replacement.
Since then, the hospital has pared down possible successors from 150 applicants to two. The news report did not identify the two candidates.
