Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, Calif., appointed Brian Evans, MD, president and CEO, effective Dec. 2, according to The Union.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Evans previously served as CMO of Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, Calif.
2. From 2013 to 2016, he was vice president of medical affairs at Sierra Nevada Memorial.
3. Dr. Evans is an emergency room physician.
4. He succeeds Kathy Medeiros, who is retiring.
