Birmingham, Ala.-based Brookwood Baptist Health appointed Megan Drake COO of Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Ala., according to the Alabaster Reporter.
Here are three things to know:
1. Ms. Drake most recently served as senior vice president of business development of the west region for Los Angeles-based Prospect Medical Holdings.
2. She has previous experience serving as market chief strategy officer of Tenet's Valley Baptist Health System with locations in Harlingen, Texas, and Brownsville, Texas.
3. She has also served as acting COO and later assistant CEO of Cedar Park (Texas) Regional Medical Center.
