Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Healthcare selected Jordan Asher, MD, to serve as senior vice president and chief physician executive.
Here are four notes:
1. Dr. Asher previously worked at St. Louis-based Ascension for 25-plus years.
2. He most recently served as chief clinical officer for Ascension Care Management.
3. He has also served as CMO and chief integration officer for the organization.
4. Dr. Asher, an internist, is a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership.
