San Angelo (Texas) Community Medical Center appointed Buddy Daniels CEO, according to a Standard Times report.

1. Mr. Daniels currently serves as CEO of Poplar Bluff (Mo.) Regional Medical Center.
2. He will assume his new role Nov. 6.
3. With more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience under his belt, Mr. Daniels previously served as CEO for Helena (Ark.) Regional Medical Center.
4. He holds a master's degree in health information systems from Loma Linda (Calif.) University.
5. He succeeds Jeremy Riney, who is leaving to take on a new opportunity at another hospital.
