Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., has named Ava Jo Collins COO, effective March 7, according to a Telegram report.
Here are three things to know about Ms. Collins.
1. She spent more than two decades as a senior healthcare professional in administrative and executive positions at New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System.
2. Most recently, she was COO of Ochsner Baptist Medical Center in New Orleans.
3. Ms. Collins earned a bachelor's degree in medical technology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, formerly Northeast Louisiana University, and a master's degree in healthcare administration from Tulane University in New Orleans.
