Rutland (Vt.) Regional Medical Center named Claudio D. Fort president and CEO, effective in the spring.

1. Most recently, Mr. Fort served as CEO of North Country Health System in Newport, Vt.
2. He spent nine years at the helm of North Country Health System, overseeing a critical access hospital, multispecialty group of 47 providers and a 23-bed nursing home.
3. His prior experience includes serving as CEO at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, Ill., and vice president of continuing and primary care at Inland Hospital in Waterville, Maine.
