Roper St. Francis names Mary Flowers inaugural chief diversity officer: 3 notes

Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis added Mary Flowers as vice president and first-ever chief diversity officer, effective Sept. 6.

Here are three notes:

1. Ms. Flowers is currently president and CEO of ETHOS Worldwide, a consulting, leadership development and coaching firm.

2. She is also a faculty member, executive coach and executive committee member of the Institute for Diversity, an American Hospital Association affiliate.

3. She has experience advising healthcare diversity leaders and has assisted in creating organizational diversity action plans.
