Rome (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital has named Wendy Goetz administrator of its skilled nursing facility, according to a Rome Sentinel report.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Goetz.
1. She is a licensed nursing home administrator.
2. She has 15 years of experience in nursing home administration.
3. In her new position, Ms. Goetz takes over for Keith Heinrich, who recently retired.
4. Ms. Goetz said the SNF's location, on the third floor of the hospital, is something which attracted her to the administrator's position. "I like the fact that the facility is located on the third floor of the hospital which offers services across the entire continuum of care," she said, according to the report. "This gives the residents access to on-site testing and services which are not available in a free-standing facility."
