Rochelle (Ill.) Community Hospital tapped Daniel Schwanke to serve as interim CEO, effective Feb. 4.
Four notes:
1. Mr. Schwanke most recently served as president of ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe, Mich.
2. He has prior experience serving as president of two critical access hospitals.
3. Mr. Schwanke has 30-plus years of healthcare leadership experience.
4. Mr. Schwanke succeeds Mark Batty, who resigned to take on the COO role at Mason General Hospital in Shelton, Wash.
