Newport News, Va.-based Riverside Health System has named David I. Cohen, MD, vice president and CMO for Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News.
Three points:
1. Dr. Cohen most recently served as CMO of Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz.
2. He is an emergency medicine physician, having completed an emergency medicine residency at the University of Chicago.
3. In his new role, Dr. Cohen will oversee the clinician staff and care delivery at Riverside Regional Medical Center, which includes just under 300 beds and a 42-room emergency department that sees 67,000 patients each year.
