River Valley Health Partners in East Liverpool, Ohio has hired Gary Gould as interim CEO of the health system and East Liverpool City Hospital.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Gould.
1. This isn't the first time Mr. Gould has served as interim CEO, as he held that position prior to the system hiring Ken Cochran, who has served as CEO since 2010.
2. In a statement, Pete Wicks, chairman of the River Valley Health Partners Board of Trustees, said the board is confident in Mr. Gould's abilities. "His experience and expertise is impressive, and we believe he will work very well with our board, the medical staff and the leadership team within the hospital and the health system," Mr. Wicks added.
3. Mr. Gould and Mr. Cochran will begin working together this week to make sure it is a smooth transition.
