Redwood Area Hospital in Redwood Falls, Minn., has named Keith Muetzel as interim CEO, according to a Redwood Gazette report.
Currently, Mr. Muetzel serves as Redwood Falls City Administrator. He replaces former CEO Jim Schulte, who was placed on unpaid administrative leave by the city on May 3 after the city received information alleging Mr. Schulte may have received inappropriate travel expense reimbursements from the hospital.
According to the report, Mr. Muetzel will serve as interim CEO for the foreseeable future.
