Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, N.Y., has named Eilish C. Hourihan, BSN, RN, vice president of patient care services and CNO, according to a report on HVNN.com.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Hourihan.
1. She has more than three decades of leadership experience in nursing, management and strategic planning.
2. Most recently, she was director of the Heart and Vascular Institute and Cardiovascular Service line for Stamford (Conn.) Hospital.
3. During her tenure at Stamford, she was pivotal in the implementation of the transcatheter aortic valve replacement program, according to the report.
4. Ms. Hourihan earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Orangeburg, N.Y.-based Dominican College and a master's degree in case management from Pace University in the Pleasantville, N.Y., area.
