Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Calif., selected Rex Hoffman, MD, to serve as CMO.

1. Dr. Hoffman most recently served as medical director of radiation oncology at the Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif.
2. He has also served as co-chairman of Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services' Cancer Leadership Council.
3. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Hoffman holds an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis.
4. He is an assistant clinical professor with Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope.
