Providence Health Care in Renton, Wash., has named Elaine Couture CEO, according to a report by The Spokesman-Review.
Ms. Couture has been serving as the chief executive of urban hospitals for Providence. In her new position, she will oversee four hospitals and more than 250 physicians, according to the report.
Ms. Couture is replacing Mike Wilson. Mr. Wilson will retire at the end of this year but will stay with the system to assist with the leadership change, according to the report.
