Randy DeGroot, president of ProMedica Coldwater (Mich.) Regional Hospital, is retiring, effective Jan. 10, according to WTVB, a Michigan-based regional radio station.
Mr. DeGroot has led the hospital since 1999 and oversaw its merger with Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica in 2018.
The hospital has named Dan Schwanke president, effective Jan. 1. He has worked at ProMedica for 30 years and is interim president of Rochelle (Ill.) Community Hospital & Health Care, according to The Daily Reporter. Prior to that, he was president of ProMedica Munroe (Mich.) Regional Hospital.
