Randall Nyp, CEO of Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare's Kansas City market, is retiring, effective July 7, according to a Kansas City Business Journal report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Nyp has spent 45 years working in the healthcare industry.
2. Since 2011, he headed Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., and Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, Kan.
3. Last year, he took over as Kansas City market CEO. In his new role, he oversaw the other two hospitals in the region St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City and St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, Kan.
4. His previous roles include serving as CEO of Via Christi Regional Medical Center in Wichita, Kan.
