Presence Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Ill., and Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago has named Yolande Wilson-Stubbs, RN, regional COO of long-term acute care services, according to a Daily Herald report.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Wilson-Stubbs.
1. In her new position, Ms. Wilson-Stubbs will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of Presence Holy Family Medical Center, and she will also lead the integration of long-term acute care services with Presence Resurrection Medical Center on Chicago's Northwest side, according to the report.
2. Prior to her appointment, she was CEO of Kindred Hospital Boston — North Shore in Peabody, Mass., where she led operation for the 50-bed transitional care facility, including a renovation of the intensive care unit and telemetry unit expansion. Ms. Wilson-Stubbs also held leadership positions as chief clinical officer at Kindred Hospital Boston — North Shore and Kindred Hospital New Orleans. She also was a registered nurse at Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans.
3. Ms. Wilson-Stubbs earned a bachelor's degree in nursing and biology from Dillard University in New Orleans and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.
4. She is currently pursuing board certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
