Chicago-based Presence Health designated Will Snyder as the system vice president of external affairs.
Here are five things to know about Mr. Snyder.
1. Mr. Synder will manage Presence's advocacy, community benefit and community health work.
2. Mr. Synder worked at Presence for over two years, advancing community outreach through social determinant data projects and developing social safety net coalitions.
3. He worked overseas as a contract writer with the Wall Street Journal and helped launch its weekend magazine, WSJ.
4. He was an editor at Outdoor Life and worked at NPR developing its digital strategy and member station capacity.
5. Mr. Snyder graduated from New YorkUniversity with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
