CEO of Denver-based Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, Madeleine "Mimi" Roberson, is stepping down, according to an article in the Denver Post.
Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center is a part of HealthONE Network headquartered in Denver.
Ms. Roberson helped build Denver-based Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children during her 15 years with Presbyterian/St. Luke's. She previously served as an attorney in medical malpractice and CEO of Women's and Children Hospital in Lafayette, La., and the Regional Medical Center of Acadiana of Lafayette.
In 2011, Ms. Roberson received the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce's Athena award for being "an outstanding woman leader who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative," in their profession, according to the article. She told the Denver Post she is leaving to "enter the next chapter" of her career.
