Pottstown (Pa.) Memorial Medical Center has announced that Sharif Omar has been appointed CEO, effective immediately, according to a hospital release.
Mr. Omar joined the hospital as COO in 2009 and has been serving as interim CEO since March. Prior to joining PMMC, Mr. Omar held administrative roles at various healthcare facilities, including Tulane University Hospital & Clinic in New Orleans.
