Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, appointed four individuals to new executive positions, according to an Idaho State Journal report.
The hospital appointed Angela Treasure, RN, chief nursing officer. She has worked at Portneuf Medical Center for 23 years, serving in the pediatric, intensive care unit and emergency room units as well as in case management.
Dan Snell, MD, is the hospital's new CMO. He is a member of the hospital's board of trustees and previously served as chief of the medical staff. He has provided care as part of Portneuf's medical staff for more than a decade.
The hospital selected Donna Bergman to serve as chief improvement officer. She formerly served as Portneuf's vice president of employed physician services.
Joseph Higgins, RN, is the new vice president of informatics and analytics. He has prior experience working on IT strategies at Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services' facilities. In his new role, Mr. Higgins will oversee Portneuf's transition to the Epic EHR.
