Piedmont Healthcare adds 1st-ever EVP, real estate chief

Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare selected Mike Mandl to serve as executive vice president and Jack Tillman as vice president and chief of real estate.

Mr. Mandl will serve as the only EVP in the health system. He is a founding partner of business advisory firm Mandl & Co. Prior to that, he served as Atlanta-based Emory University’s executive vice president for business and administration. He also served in leadership roles at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University and Glaxo Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Tillman is also a founding partner of business advisory firm Mandl & Co. In addition, he was the firm’s managing director, overseeing asset management and real estate development projects for its clients.

Piedmont comprises eight hospitals, 21 urgent care centers, 28 Piedmont QuickCare locations and 527 Piedmont Clinic locations.
