Reading, Pa.-based Penn State Health St. Joseph appointed Chris Newman, MD, vice president of medical affairs and CMO, according to a Reading Eagle report.
Here are three notes:
1. Dr. Newman most recently served as the organization's associate CMO.
2. He replaces current CMO Gary Lattin, MD, who has plans to retire.
3. In his new role, Dr. Newman will provide clinical leadership while overseeing clinical quality and medical staff relations.
