Payman Roshan has been named executive director of Panorama City (Calif.) Medical Center, part of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, according to a Santa Clarita Valley Signal report.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Roshan.
1. As executive director, he will be responsible for all hospital and health plan functions in the Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valley areas, according to the report.
2. Mr. Roshan has a long history with Kaiser Permanente. He has served in numerous positions within the system, including COO for three years at Baldwin Park (Calif.) Medical Center and as Southern California regional director of clinical technology/biomedical engineering.
3. William Caswell, senior vice president of operations for Kaiser Permanente Southern California touted Mr. Roshan's experience in a statement, saying, his "success overseeing several departments, hospital operations and initiatives over the past five years demonstrates he has the leadership skills to lead, and build upon, our strategic initiatives in the Panorama City and Antelope Valley areas," according to the Santa Clarita Valley Signal.
