Dallas-based Parkland, a public hospital system, has named Joseph Longo as its permanent CIO, according to D CEO Healthcare.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Longo was most recently vice president of IT enterprise technologies.
2. He took over as interim CIO earlier this year when Matt Kull departed from the role.
2. Mr. Longo also was director of IT core clinical systems at Parkland.
3. He began his career at Epic.
