Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, N.C., has named Penney Burlingame Deal, DHA, RN, CEO, according to a Jacksonville Daily News report.
Here are three things to know about Dr. Deal.
1. She most recently served as COO of Onslow Memorial. She was also previously senior vice president for nursing and clinical services at the hospital.
2. In her new role, she will replace Ed Piper, PhD, who is retiring July 1.
3. Dr. Deal earned a doctorate degree in health administration from Medical University of South Carolina, based in Charleston.
